1. Introduction

Fonts Generator (operating at fontsgenerator.net) is a free online tool that converts plain text into Unicode font styles entirely in your browser. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our service. We designed the generator so your typed text stays on your device, while limited technical and analytics data may be processed to operate and improve the site.

2. Information We Collect

Tool input stays in your browser. The text you enter into the font generator runs via client-side JavaScript. We do not send, save, log, or transmit that input to our servers for storage or generation.

We do not run accounts, logins, payment flows, or marketing profiles. Separately from your typed text, the following technical information may be processed:

• Standard hosting request metadata (such as IP address, user agent, and requested URL) handled by our CDN/host to serve pages and protect the service
• Aggregated website usage data via Google Analytics 4 (page views, approximate location derived by Google, device/browser category, referral source, and similar engagement metrics)
• No account registration, email collection, or payment information on this site

3. How We Collect Information

Font transformation runs locally in your browser with no server-side processing of your input text. Hosting infrastructure may process request logs automatically when pages are served. Google Analytics 4 loads in the browser and reports usage events to Google as described in Section 5.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

Where the GDPR applies, we rely on:

• Legitimate interests — operating a secure website, understanding aggregate traffic, and improving content and performance, balanced against your privacy rights
• Consent — where required by local law for non-essential cookies or similar technologies; you can also control analytics through browser settings and Google’s opt-out tools

Your generator input is not transmitted to us for processing, so no legal basis is needed for storing that text on our side.

5. Third-Party Services

We do not sell personal information. We use the following processors/providers to run the site:

Cloudflare. The site is hosted on Cloudflare (Workers / CDN). Cloudflare may process technical information such as IP addresses and request metadata to deliver pages, mitigate abuse, and operate the network. Cloudflare’s privacy policy is available at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Google Analytics 4. We use GA4 to measure visits and on-site navigation. Google may set cookies or use similar identifiers and process data such as truncated IP-derived location, device/browser type, pages viewed, and approximate engagement metrics. We configure GA4 for measurement only (not ads personalization on this property). Google’s privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy. Google Fonts. Font files used in the site UI are loaded at build time through Next.js where applicable. Google’s privacy policy is linked above.

We do not use advertising networks or social media pixels on this site beyond the analytics described here.

6. Cookies and Tracking

Google Analytics 4 may use cookies or local storage identifiers to distinguish visits and measure usage. These are analytics technologies, not required to type text into the generator or copy results.

We may also rely on strictly necessary technical storage required for basic website delivery and security (for example CDN or network protections operated by our host). You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings; blocking analytics cookies may limit our ability to measure traffic.

7. International Data Transfers

Your generator input remains on your device. Hosting and analytics providers (including Cloudflare and Google) may process technical or analytics data in the United States or other countries where they operate. Those providers are responsible for appropriate transfer mechanisms under their own terms and privacy policies.

8. Data Retention

We do not store your typed generator text on our servers. Hosting logs are retained according to Cloudflare’s operational defaults and our configuration. Google Analytics retention follows the settings configured in our GA4 property and Google’s product terms.

9. Your Rights (GDPR, CCPA, and Other Laws)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing, and to opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information as those terms are defined by law. We do not sell personal information.

• Right to be informed — This policy describes our practices.
• Right of access / rectification / erasure — For analytics data held by Google, use Google’s tools where available, or contact us and we will help where we can.
• Right to object / restrict — You may object to analytics via browser controls, opt-out add-ons, or by contacting us.
• CCPA / similar opt-out — We do not sell personal information; analytics is used to understand site usage.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or operational considerations. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
